It's my annual tradition to spread the word on Poison Prevention and Medication Safety. I started MANY years ago when my brother was in 3rd Grade. And i've continued over the years in classrooms with my cousins, my co-workers children, and complete strangers. This year was completely different. I was a Momm...in my boy's classroom...teaching him and his friends about pharmacy, medicine, and safety. He looked at me with proud eyes. He sat at my feet...correction, he sat on my feet as I read to his class a book that I spent hours coloring. I had a nervous stomach ache on my way to his school. I just wanted the kids to like me. I wanted Carter to be proud of me. It sounds silly, I know. But, it's true. I take this parenting job seriously. I try to give him great experiences hoping that they will help mold him into a great person. Thankfully, I am always reminded that he already IS a great person. I love that boy.
