Such. A. Stud.

I took Carter's 4 year old photos today... He wasn't extremely cooperative, as usual. BUT, somehow I managed to get these favorite shots. I know i'm his Mommy and all...but he is SUCH. A. STUD.

ONE warm day :)

We saw spring for ONE day, so we took advantage of it. We spent the majority of the day outside. Blake was brave in the grass and loved sitting close to his best girl, Ella (who was wearing a new headband I'll be using for photography).

Cootie Bugs and Crawling

Blake has been crawling for a while, but he moves so quickly that this is one of the first times i've actually captured it on camera :)

Some post-bath fun!

Santa brought Carter the Cootie game for Christmas, and since winter has lasted SO long, we are digging deep into our toys :) It's one of our favorite things to play with now! Well, mostly because Carter always wins.

Our big 9 month old!

Blake was so nice to cooperate for the easiest 10 minute photo shoot on his 9 month birthday. He was ALL smiles! (Typical for him...even strangers call him "Smiley")

Poison Prevention Week

It's my annual tradition to spread the word on Poison Prevention and Medication Safety. I started MANY years ago when my brother was in 3rd Grade. And i've continued over the years in classrooms with my cousins, my co-workers children, and complete strangers. This year was completely different. I was a Momm...in my boy's classroom...teaching him and his friends about pharmacy, medicine, and safety. He looked at me with proud eyes. He sat at my feet...correction, he sat on my feet as I read to his class a book that I spent hours coloring. I had a nervous stomach ache on my way to his school. I just wanted the kids to like me. I wanted Carter to be proud of me. It sounds silly, I know. But, it's true. I take this parenting job seriously. I try to give him great experiences hoping that they will help mold him into a great person. Thankfully, I am always reminded that he already IS a great person. I love that boy.

A few random pictures

In Mid-March, our house was attacked by a stomach virus! First Carter, then Blake, and then Evan. It was terrible. But it gave us some extra snuggle time...

Blake loves bananas in his hair!

Just a typical morning full of fun :)

He can write his name!

Carter's favorite teacher, Miss Jacque, celebrated her birthday in March. We gave her a card (and a cookie), which Carter signed his name in. This is the first time he was excited to sign his name. And the first time he actually tried. The outcome was amazing. He did SO good - and I was so proud.

Finally blogging our vacation

Just for my friend, Lisa Grems, I am updating my blog :) She may be the only one that follows it - but I will be happy in 10 years (or more) when my internet thumbprint is still here. The memories are worth documenting...by scrapbook, by journal, and by blog :)

In February, we took a vacation to Las Vegas :) We had a great time, despite so-so weather. Here's a synopsis of our trip!
