This is how he rolls...

Blake rolled over for the first time yesterday! I thought it was an accident, but apparently he knows exactly what he's doing because he rolled twice more today. I can't believe how quickly he's growing!

"Watch me, Mommy!"

Aaaaand, there he goes!

Yes, Blake...I'm watching you.

He found his thumb while thinking aboout rolling. Cute.

Yup, I got pictures :)

Baby Ella Grace

Congratulations to our friends, Amy and Marshall, on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Ella Grace! Big Brother Andrew couldn't be any more in love...ok...unless she came out a train :) I had the privilege of taking her newborn photos yesterday and I'm so happy with how they turned out. She is so sweet!

In the last week...

It's been a busy, but FUN week! I go back to work on Oct 4th, so I've been trying to get things in order, but enjoy my last moments as a "stay-at-home-mom." We took another trip to the apple orchard, and Blake had his first day at daycare on Monday (because I had a meeting to attend). He was congested and hadn't pooped in 2 days...but he smiled and talked ALL DAY LONG :) Such a happy boy!

Here comes Halloween

After many discussions on what to be for Halloween, Carter said he wanted to be "Pat" the hammer from Handy Manny on Playhouse Disney. I searched the internet for a Pat costume, and it seems that there is no such thing. So, I had to unleash my creative side and this is what I came up with. How did I do??

Here is the goal:

And here is the result:

Carter will wear a gray shirt, blue pants, and a black belt to complete the look

A is for Apple

We spent some quality time at the apple orchard on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, and we had lots of fun together!

Here is Carter on the zip-line at the kids' play area

On the inflatables...asking for "one more time" thru the obstacle course

Diving for Macintosh apples in the bin

Out at the orchard waiting for the tractor to pick us up

My new favorite picture of Carter! We told him to only pick the BIGGEST, REDDEST apples with NO holes. All we heard was "I FOUND ONE!"

Carter had so much fun picking apples

Just a few of the thousands of apple trees

Waiting patiently for his turn on the tractor hayride

To the Big House!

Evan took Carter to the Big House last weekend - and my, oh, my, was he excited...can you tell?? Unfortunately for Evan, Carter was ready to come home at halftime. Why, you ask?? Because he wanted to come home and play with his "Michigan guys."

Jack's 4th Birthday

Carter's friend, Jack, turned 4 last week and we had an evening of fun to celebrate!

Here is Carter, Owen, and Jack watching the fireworks show by Jack and Owen's Grandpa

These kids are such buddies!

Just some cute pictures :)

I took these cute pictures last week and just wanted to share them!

Cutie Carter before school - he cooperated because I said that he could help me drive down the driveway!

I think he looked so cute :)

Here is Blake playing with his favorite BEAR - he smiles and talks to him!

All smiles in his Michigan shirt!

It's Football Season!

Ahhh, yes....it's football season. And, Carter couldn't be any happier about it! He watches Michigan football and yells at the TV as if he understands what's going on in the game. Mostly, "GO! Michigan! GO!" or "Get him! Get him!" And LOTS of "Hail to the Victors!" or "GO BLUE!" Evan's brother was visiting from San Diego for a week, and Carter had such a good time with his Uncle Wayne. Wayne and Evan went to a Michigan game, but we had to keep it a secret from Carter to avoid a day of tears. He is going to the Big House next weekend for the first time this year and is SO excited about it!

Here is Blake in his Michigan shirt...very happy to be watching BIG HOUSE FOOTBALL! GO BLUE!

Watching Michigan beat Notre Dame - Carter is yelling "GOOOOO Michigan!" Notice the hand holding.

Evan, Carter, and Wayne

Punting with Daddy and Uncle Wayne - he's holding his arm up like a kicker :)

Very excited to be watching the 1st Michigan game of the year

He even got his "football guys" out for a little game in our own living room!

Oh, Brother!

Just a little photo shoot of the Sutton brothers
